Our Organization
Sycamore Consulting, Inc. has been helping clients build productive and constructive workspaces since 2002. Our focus is on assisting organizations in developing effective workplaces, and assisting individuals in developing effective leadership and work engagement strategies. We believe in maintaining a positive mindset, creating partnerships with a purpose, and striving for significant outcomes. Catherine Kwantes founded Sycamore Consulting, Inc. in 2002. She is an organizational consultant who has worked with a variety of organizations including banks, manufacturing companies, engineering firms, and educational institutions in the US, as well as organizations in Canada and in India (see Clients for more information). She has helped organizations reduce turnover, improve morale, and develop employee feedback systems. As an executive coach, she has worked with managers and executives to help develop more effective leadership skills and is a certified Life Coach and Career Coach. She has published extensively - her recent book Trust and Trustworthiness: Implications for Societies and Organizations is now available. A recent publication on leadership in non-profit organizations was one of the top 20 downloaded and read articles in Nonprofit Management & Leadership in 2018 and 2019.
She holds master and doctoral degrees in Industrial Organizational Psychology and a masters degree in Clinical Psychology. She is also a full Professor in the Department of Psychology, University of Windsor, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. For more information click here.
